Having painted as a hobby for 25 years, I am now fully devoted to my art and concentrating on realism still life acrylic paintings. As much as I love getting into the quiet details of realism I occasionally can be found "letting loose" with abstracts and florals.  Throughout the many styles, my use of vibrant color and clean lines brings a modern freshness to my art.

My focus is creating paintings that capture the beauty of everyday objects. I find inspiration in the color, shadows, and highlights, which adds depth and dimension to my compositions. By manipulating light and shadow the goal is to breathe life into these ordinary objects.

My technique is a result of painting and drawing classes, as well as daily painting and exposure to a wide range of artistic styles. This has allowed me to set my work apart with its bold colors and intricate detailing.

I have lived in beautiful New England all of my life. When I am not painting, I enjoy the endless "do it yourself" projects of decorating the home I share with my husband.

“ “Reflections” takes the classic still life and turns it on its head by placing glistening objects in front of an enchanting flower print, which is abstracted through a glass goblet and reflected in a vintage pitcher. The details are subtle, but masterful: the closer you observe, the more they reveal themselves.”
